The Warriors Prayer
I do Solemnly promise, upon my honor, never to violate the warrior code and to pledge myself to these of honor:
Strive to serve my country always.
Show respect for the law and those designated to serve in authority above me.
Honor my family and neighbor.
Help those who cannot help themselves.
Show respect for women and the aged.
Pray that I may be blessed with the gentility of a woman and have the faith of a child.
That I never become a braggart.
That I may always be humble.
Would that if I am attacked without cause or reason, to escape if possible and if this cannot be done, to retreat until I can retreat no further and then to apply such techniques necessary to prevent injury to myself.
